For enhanced safety, the front and rear seat shoulder belts of the Lamborghini Urus have pretensioners to tighten the seatbelts and eliminate dangerous slack in the event of a collision and force limiters to limit the pressure the belts will exert on the passengers. The Lotus Eletre doesn’t offer pretensioners for its rear seat belts.

The Urus has standard Precognition Rear that uses rear sensors to monitor for objects to the rear and automatically applies the brakes to prevent a collision. The Eletre doesn’t offer automatic braking for stationary objects directly to the rear.

The Urus comes with free roadside assistance for 3 years unlimited miles. Lamborghini will send help if you run out of gas, need a jump-start, lock your keys in or need any assistance on the road. Lotus doesn’t give free roadside assistance for the Eletre.

The Urus’ corrosion warranty is 4 years longer than the Eletre’s (12 vs. 8 years).

Lamborghini pays for scheduled maintenance on the Urus for 5 years and 75000 miles. Lamborghini will pay for oil changes, air filter replacements, cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance (up to 5 visits). Lotus doesn’t pay scheduled maintenance for the Eletre.

The Urus SE’s maximum EPA estimated range on a full tank and a full charge is 474 miles, after which it can be refueled at any gas station in minutes. The Eletre’s range is only 280 miles, after which the minimum time to recharge is 20 minutes for only an 80% charge at a specially configured quick charge station not available in most areas.

For more complete vehicle control the Urus has Tiptronic, with the available convenience of an automatic transmission and the complete gear control of a manual transmission without the inconvenience of a clutch. Tiptronic allows the driver to eliminate unwanted shifts and maximize engine braking by down shifting while cornering. The Eletre doesn’t offer a transmission that allows complete gear control.

An eight-speed automatic is standard on the Lamborghini Urus, for better acceleration and lower engine speed on the highway. Only a 2-speed automatic is available for the Eletre.

The Urus offers an optional space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the Eletre; it requires you to depend on roadside assistance and your vehicle will have to be towed.

The Urus S/SE offers an available adjustable active suspension system, which counteracts cornering forces actively, limiting body roll and improving handling and stability. Lotus doesn’t offer an active suspension on the Eletre.
